summary:Azalea is trapped. Just when she should feel that everything is before her . . . beautiful gowns, dashing suitors, balls filled with dancing . . . it's taken away. All of it.

The Keeper understands. He's trapped, too, held for centuries within the walls of the palace. And so he extends an invitation.

Every night, Azalea and her eleven sisters may step through the enchanted passage in their room to dance in his silver forest.

But there is a cost.

The Keeper likes to keep things.

Azalea may not realize how tangled she is in his web until it is too late.

Review:

I absolutely adored Entwined, I’m not a fairytale type of girl but this book had me turning the pages wanting more. First off, I would just like to say that I love the cover; it’s so beautiful, I’m sure most of us have fantasized about wearing a beautiful gown like this. I feel this cover really represents the book well.

For the first quarter of the book I was enraged about how their dad was treating them. He was so distant, not communicating with the girls, all twelve of the girls felt that their father didn’t love them. They never even called him “dad” or “father”, instead they called him “Sir, or King”. After their mom died the king acted even more distant, having to go off to war, the girls all had to take care of themselves.

All twelve of the girls loved to dance, it was there life, and there was nothing else worth living for than dancing. After their mother’s death, the whole castle had to go into mourning, they had to put black curtains up on all of the curtains, they couldn’t dance, go outside, or have any fun, and they had to wear black dresses for a whole year. If I would have to do that I would be depressed. They couldn’t even use any clocks.

While there father was off at war, Azalea found a magic passage hidden in her wall. A couple of years ago the whole castle was magic. But most of it was gone, including the person responsible for all the magic. The moment Azalea walks into the passage and into a magical forest, in it was the keeper, trapped inside of the castle forever, unless someone were to destroy the one piece of silver that would release him.

All eleven of Azalea’s sister entered the magical passage with her; the keeper promised them they could dance here every night if they wanted to. They immediately accepted, they needed to practice somewhere private so that no one would catch them dancing in the year of mourning.

They came back every night. I had a suspicious feeling that the keeper was no good. I felt like there was something very creepy about him.

This book held a very sweet romance, not just with one of the sisters, but with 3 of them. I felt like half way through the book it kept getting better and better each page, I wasn’t expecting some of the twists. Of course the romance was predictable, I love reading a book where someone loves each other, but the both of them don’t see the hints that the other one likes them to, and you’re sitting there trying to somehow communicate with the character, telling them to open there eyes and see the signs.

I’m very glad this wasn’t part of a series; I probably would have died waiting for the rest one. Especially if it would have ended with a cliffhanger, then I totally forget about what the book was about by the time the next one comes out. I hope to get as many people to read this as possible. You won’t be disappointed!

5/5 stars
